Unknown Victorian period badge ?
The width is 58mm and height is 57 mm, brass die struck , its not been identified as yet, any help in doing so is much appreciated. Thanks Piffer

Its typical of Blackened Brass Shako and busby badges worn by the Rifle Volunteers 1859 - early 1880's.
Having just the Royal Cypher to the front means it cant be attributed to a specific Corps. they were produced in generic variations with different centres, such as Numerals, Letters and as yours with a Royal Cypher. regards
