Robbo,
A number of different Welsh units wore that style of dragon, including some of the Welsh Regiment VBs. I'm away so cannot check my records. Someone could look at Churchill for you and confirm which unit it was worn by. Hwyl, Kevin |

The edition I have of churchill is not clear enough to say with any certainty, but a number of units wore this form of dragon, known as the Monmouthshire type but as Kevin already mentioned not only worn by them, but some of the Welsh units wore the same form. As it is GM it is probably for the Mons, I have a number of this type (bottom row), they are smaller than the normal type for the Welsh.

Your welcome Robbo. Adding another montage taken as a single view which I think shows the size variations better than the other composite montage.
