Default British Army Staybrite Cap Badges - Territorial Units

Hi Guys,

I have place my collection of Territorial Unit badges here:

http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/hagwal...ey=HIxu2daUD9A

If anyone would like to add variations please let me know.

I may publish these pages in the future so photos required will need to be on a white background. A sheet of A4 paper should be OK to do this and photos should be taken in natural light.

Note that I am not 100% sure about my example of T1 - 5th Battalion Seaforth Highlanders and will bring this up at a later date.

Regards

Chris

Chris, A nice collection. May I make a couple of comments.
Despite what it has on the scroll, the badge you have labelled King's -actually the old Liverpool Irish - was not part of the King's but the Royal Artillery. (The badge inscribed Liverpool Scottish was indeed part of the Queen's Own (Cameron Highlanders )).
The only remaining TA Bn of the King's (the new 1958 regiment) was the old 5th Bn King's which wore the small 1950 size AA badge. Actually I believe that this never made it to the regular King's before September 1958 and was thus only worn by the 5th Bn between 1958 and 1967.

Can I just add the" Lancastrian" badge was worn by both the regulars in the Lancastian Brigade and by Territorials in 1st and 2nd Lancastrian Volunteers.

Thanks KLR,

Any ideas what would be a good name for the badge?

Hi 8th Foot,

Is this covered by T16 - Lancastrian Volunteers?
