I believe this to be a very bad copy, I welcome any comments to confirm before it goes in the pot.

I’m in no doubt this type is a genuine makers variation. Not Gaunt made.

Really Luke ! I was looking at the area around the masts...there seems to be an added layer...whereas all the other versions I look at on the forum are crisp and clean in detail.

There is a thread in the navy section discussing non-Gaunt made RND badges. If you search you should be able to find it. Can't remember if Drake gets a mention.

They have been sold as genuine and go for up to £100 on the more expensive dealer's sites.
