Paul here,
I've quite a collection of tunic buttons from old police, militia, and regular units. In due course I hope to post up some pics and with some luck get additional info from members that have a far greater knowledge and better eye than myself. Most of the items are pre 1921 Irish (as far as I know). I also have some some medals. Generally they were picked up at the usual car boot sales and flea markets, often mixed in with a biscuit tin of coins.

I will take some time later to read the fora rules as i'd imagine asking for guides on value and the like may not be appropriate. But certainly maybe some insight on authenticity, condition and scarcity/historical value will be ok to ask!?
