Canadian shoulder title?
A recent find in a bag of Canadian WWI insignia bits and pieces. CPR in script with flat copper lugs(45mmx25mm) and by Caron bros.Montreal.
A bit like the Army Pay Corps badge but can't find any reference to positively identify it. Any ideas? |

Hi Mike,
I did check the Canadian Pacific Railway, but there's nothing remotely similar to this? Dave |

Caron made insignia for the railways in Canada. Not proof positive but a piece of circumstantial evidence.

Thanks Tim.
I did a bit more digging, and the script style titles are earlier types. I couldn't find a date of use but with the Caron stamp the one in question is around the First World War.
