Marksman Badge
Found this in Ohio over the weekend. Would this be from between the wars or possibly earlier? The rifles are likely an indication. All comments welcomed.

That would be worn between 1901 and 1914, gold for regular army.
Issued to best shot of Sgt's in a Regiment or Battalion. Worn in Full Dress on lower left sleeve. regards

RIFLES IN BAY LEAVES
Hello,
Best shot of sgts and L/sgts of a regiment or battalion. Later including Warrant Officers. Prize badge. Worn about 1901 and continued to be worn until prior to WW2. A nice badge. Martin. Edited . Garth,
The one you describe as Drab, is not . It is better than that, its a full dress/Walking Out Dress bullion version for a grey/light green uniform. Quite scarce in my years of collecting such things. regards
