Can anyone tell me if the general service badge is attributable re the number on the reverse.Regards.Phil.

Hopefully I don't confuse things too much here.

Yes the number is attributed to a soldier, or individual. The problem is there is no way of knowing who got what number. Unless you have the (MIC) Medal Index Card to the individual.

The Canadian General Service badge number is recorded on the MIC.

Hello Pylon,thanks for that,i have a little job lot of Canadian Womens Army Corps badges which includes a General Service badge.Unfortunately no medals only the bar.Volunteer Service ,1939-45 War medal and the Canadian Forces Decoration with rosette.I believe this is a one person lot to a Major (final rank)I will post up a picture or two when i can,the officers cap and collars are very nice badges.Regards.Phil.
