Thumbs up Hey All

I am particularly interested in British Military Badges, Buttons etc.

I am ex military [9 years Army], and spend much of my time nowadays digging holes on farmland [with the owners permission] looking for lost history beneath our feet in Norfolk and Suffolk.

I enjoy finding and researching and recording all things military, often uncovering cap badges, collar dogs, dog tags, cartridge cases etc.

I'll post a few photos once I get into the forum a little further.

Hey mate - I posted a reply yesterday evening - but it doesn't seem to have been approved yet as it held a photo of a regimental badge ...

---

However - I joined back in 64, The Royal Sussex Regiment, we later were amalgamated and became Th 3rd Battalion The Queens Regiment ...

Hey Michael ...

Thanks for the welcome

That's some website you have there mate *Thumbs Up* I have only had a brief browse so far but look forward to visiting there again later today - excellent work ...

The metal detecting certainly helps to keep us fit. I must walk bloomin miles when I'm out for a day in the field, digging and crawling around in the mud brings back service memories too ...

Swing the light mate and I'll tell you some stories - lmao
