If it came out of Bedale Car Boot sale I saw it last weekend it’s a wrong un. Personally I have not seen MGC OR badges on loops the finish has as modern shine and details are poorly executed.

Two things struck me about it. First the small area between the crown and guns - there seems to be a space filler. I don't recall seeing that on other badges. Second there is flash around the edges, especially inside the crown. Not one I would want.

When I first saw this badge I thought it was fake but the comments so far are making me believe it is original!

Well with 3 loops it's not an original British ORs badge.

Alan yes indeed it has the same lugs as the New Zealand type mgc badges I noticed after I posted the thread, oh the metal type has a colour of those badges as well.
It is full size or same size as a british mgc I don’t have a New Zealand type to compare ?
Kind regards Chay

Default NZ Machine Gun Corps

All NZ Machine Gun Corps illustrated in "Regimental badges of New Zealand" have "NZ" below the machine guns.

Does your badge show any signs of having "NZ" broken off?

Chay, Look at this thread and then at Nozzer's 10th and 11th post the latter has a very nice original badge.
