Thumbs up Collars

Hi Dwayne, I have this same set-up, except my collars are not darkened, they have been polished down to the brass, both marked "Scully". I also have a slip-on title.Have you ever seen officers badges to this unit?

HI Bill,

I've seen one that is a gilt once. I dont have one however,,,,the OR's collars that I have have never been worn....which was a nice find as they are hard to get.

If my interpretation of heraldry is correct, the provincial shield should be inner most then the naming scroll.
Nice badges, and a good example of a very scarce canvas title.

Default PEILH Officers

Here's the officer's badge(s) in gilt. I have 4 gilt collars, but not a true matched set among them. I'm not certain if the officer's collars faced or not.

The set pictured is all flat backed & Scully marked. The cap & one collar have screw posts; one collar has lugs. The gilted title is not maker marked.

Nice set Dwayne, and that ultra rare canvas title is in better shape than mine, mine has been worn I believe.Got it from an old collector in Huntsville who wanted it back about a year later. Ray
