RGJ collar badges strange
These arrived in the mail today. Does any body have any idea as to age or maker ?
I'm presuming they are very early ones. The clips are green plastic. |

As far as I'm aware Leigh. The Light division band wore the same collars on No2s (FAD) and pin back would fit but the packaging doesn't tie in . I'd have expected a Firmin bag or a LBB/TKS sticker on a new bag .

I have these two sets in similar if not identical packaging and labels although these are the backing plate and split pin type.

So they are old then. I wonder if the pins came before the lugs.
I'm sure Bess said to me that the original idea was to have pin backed collars rather than lugs. |

D of Q stands for denomination of quantity.
