SADF Air Supply
Can anybody give me some information on the "Air Supply". I got a breast badge, see attachment, but would like to know which corps they would fall under and what functions they would carry out. Also is the badge scarce and what would the approx value be. Thanks to all

Neville,
This is the qualification badge of a qualified air supply dispatcher. They would supply equipment and other materiel from aircraft by cargo parachute to deployed airborn or other forces that were on the ground during operations. 101 Air Supply was the unit that was responsible for this task and usually C130 aircraft were used. The corps was usually the Ordinance Serves Corps. The badge itself is not rare but there are not many qualified personnel still out there. A "full-wing" denotes a qualifed OSC air supply Instructor.
