Default 5th Gurkha Rifles Drum

I've had this drum for some 20 odd years. I think I can date it to between 1921 and 1930. The 5GR gained the "Royal" title in 1921 so it has to be after then. Stamped on the side of the drum is Hawkes & Son ( they became Boosey and Hawkes in 1930) - however the drum came via Potters and Son - another famous English military instrument maker - I suspect it had been sent there for refurbishment/repainting as its in remarkably good condition.
