Default Jewish Chaplain pre 1954 chromed / silvered badge , real or copy ??

Hi
A well made badge , but not sure if real ??
Looks like staybright, chromed ??? Kings crown though !!
Just took a chance on it can return if wrong !!
Any ideas ??

Have had one of these for 30 plus years exatly the same, also a blackened version brass underneath check out my Officers Album, all the best billy

Steve had a look it is on an Album of Officers OSD badges and on bottom of page 7, the Chromed version k/c, Blackened brass version? k/c, and also a q/c version,

Hi Billy ,
I must be blind can't find your album , have you a link to it ?
Is your badge silvered ? Or is it chromed stay bright ? I would imagine if genuine they would be rare to such a small group ?

Chaplin's Silver/Coloured versions are for Coloured No1 Dress Cap & Coloured Side Cap and Black OSD for Khaki Service Cap and Khaki Forage/Side Cap & Beret.

Was there ever a Chaplin's Plastic economy badge?
