Default cyclist battalions or not any ideas ??

hi picked this up in a flea market I have never seen one like this and was wondering if it had anything to do with any of the cyclist battalion it seems to be a old style bicycle many thanks in advance

Looks like racing drop handlebar bikes did exist back then. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_cycling I know next to nothing about cycling, but badge would not match the types in use in The Great War which from pictures I have seen were much more the standard push bike. Regards, Paul.
