Default French badge: 89 infantry regiment Royal Suédois

Hi all,
I found a badge that was own by my grand father, but I don't know anything about it and look for information.
From what I could gather online it is from the french 89 infantry regiment Royal Suédois. They were active between 1690 to 1940. So it is very large.
My intuition is more toward the period of WW2-WW1.

The badge is marked by Arthus Bertrand but has no lug or attach.
Any help appreciated.
Cheers.

This is the lineage of the regiment as far as I was able to find out: 89e infanterie de ligne

And of course Wikipedia has a page: 89e régiment d'infanterie
