Norwegian pilot wings.
Got these two since yesterday. It was a gift.
They came together with some red cross patches. |

My understanding they were used as hat badges rather than breast wings

I have found some photos of them being used on their caps indeed.
They are unmarked, i am curious who made them. |

They are indeed Norwegian ww2 hat badges. Often marked sterling and a makers mark on the back. Without a makers mark I don't see how it would be possible to find out where they were made. But the Norwegians had such made in Canada and the US, and possibly in the UK.
PS I am always on the lookout for Norwegian ww2 items if anyone has anything for sale. |

I too, also have an interest in Norwegian and other Free Forces badges of WW2 - the scope of such French, Dutch, Belgian, Norwegian, Polish and Yugoslav insignia never fails to surprise me. Mike |
