Question Unknown shield with dragon collar

Hi all,

Any clues on this WM shield badge with a dragon on it plus upturned V with 5 O's on the V and a dragon wing at top of badge. On long copper lugs east-west 36x24mm.

Any thoughts - school or military ?

Regards Dean.

I think it's a school one. US DUI (the only similar thing I can think of) would be enamelled and probably wouldn't have the top wing.

Its not a Dragon..... its a "Wyvern". The Crest is the Wyvern wing...... I would go with a school badge of some sort or even Railways?

It is the same badge as the Kingswood College Cadet Corps(South Africa). The one I have is in White Metal with a scroll below the badge. Possibly a newer variation of this badge, or collar? What size is it? Regards Andrew

Thanks all for replies and image of cap badge Griff,

As stated originally the size is 36x24mm and so think indeed a collar badge to Kingswood College Cadet Corps (South Africa).

Will not be a keeper, will PM you for your interest thanks Andrew.
