schulterklappen (German shoulder boards)
Would any of our German insignia collectors be able to identify these items? I think the range is WW1, WW2 and current (this last possibly Police?)

The centre one is East German, either Artillery (brick red) or Civil Defence (Raspberry Red). Also I think it has the wrong button.

No help in identifying them I'm afraid, but these may be two "singles" rather than a pair as the braiding is the same on both rather than "mirrored' eg as per these.

In for a penny, in for a pound!
Am I correct in attributing these shoulder cords to Reichsbahn (3rd Reich period Railways)? And what would the rank designations be? Underlay is bright blue. The 'solid braid' ones are marked LEFT and RIGHT in German on the back GTB |

I've lost the caption to this one, if anyone can assist.

Beyond my ken without books to hand I'm afraid - is the sewn in board on the right silver braid, army medical or transport, Luftwaffe transport, reserve, medical?
Or Transportkorps Speer supply or medical personnel? KM Admin Official, pharmacists and non-technical sub lieutenants. Last edited by leigh kitchen; 16-06-20 at 01:14 PM. Reason: Added text. |
