Unknown shoulder strap colours
I picked this little lot up together at the weekend, the DCLI titles are nice but I'm intrigued to know if the shoulder strap colours are Cornwall related?
I will probably be offering these for sale. Thanks Rob |

Nice lot !
For me the red/blue shoulder straps are not related to DCLI. They are more certainly RTR shoulder flashes. Normandie18 |

Are the colours not more Royal Artillery related?

There is a mix of ww2 and post war insignia there. Much ww2 insignia was worn for years later of course. Whilst I don't know what the slip on insignia is for, the blue is rather too light for Artillery. It is more like the colors of 7 Para. At any rate, they appear to be post war by the materials.

Definitely too light for RA but they match the 7th Parachute Regiment Royal Horse Artillery TRF.

So they could be 5th Royal Tank Regiment the other way up.
