Default Hello - looking for help

Hi,

I have a photo of either my great grandfather or his son, they both have the same name but I know my grandfather died in 1938 so I'm wondering if anyone on here can identify if the cap or uniform the chap in the photo is wearing is either WW1 or WW2 this would help me identify the person.

thanks,

Rick

Hello Rick, welcome to the Forum. Your account is active and open for posts.
To get you started, the uniform is First World War.

Thank you so much, that has helped me identify him as the father, not the son.

Silver War Badge issued in September 1916 as worn by the Gent on the right, likely to be after that time. Regards Mark
