Glasgow High School
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Glasgow-H...p2047675.l2557
Glasgow High School but not the OTC badge I am afraid. The fixings are not right for a cap badge. The school wore a round badge in brass with the school OTC title before adopting the white metal Cameronian's mullet badge. The round OTC badge can be found both solid and pierced. When they adopted the Cameronian Rifles' badge they continued to wear the round badge on their sporrans. Last edited by Alan O; 07-08-19 at 02:48 PM. |

And this is not a second pattern Glasgow High School badge I am afraid:
http://www.mindenmilitaria.com/viewp...h=56714&phqu=2 It is Glasgow Corporation. The first pattern was the round badge and the second design to be worn was the Cameronians. This was recorded in the Journal of Military Historical Society in 1938. Image of the Corporation badge is here: http://www.tramwaybadgesandbuttons.c...ctor-brass.jpg Last edited by Alan O; 30-12-21 at 09:48 AM. |

The correct High School of Glasgow cap badge is this one. It was also worn on the sporran. In the 1930's it was replaced by the Cameronians badge.
