War Service / Ordnance lapel badges
I recently purchased a collection of War Service/Munitions Workers lapel badges. I could not identify these three: Left C&N, maker Fenwick Birmingham. Centre E Anslow & Sons, I cannot find any info at all on Anslow. Right, looks to be WW2 period, W.O.F. (xxx Ordnance Factory) maker Fattorini.
Any thoughts would be welcomed. |

There was an Ordnance Factory located at Wrexham in the Great War, could this be the W.O.F. badge I wonder.

It is my understanding that the CN badge is for Camper & Nicholson’s. It could very well be WW2. I have put a link below to Graces Guide which gives full details of the company.
https://gracesguide.co.uk/Camper_and_Nicholsons The Anslow badge is almost certainly WW1 and a very nice badge it is too! Cheers James

Thank you, I don't think I would have found Camper & Nicholson. Yes the Anslow badge is a belter; I think they were a Scottish company but I cannot find much about them.
