Default Anyone help with 1914-18 War Medal.

Picked this medal up recently, there's no information on CWGC web pages.
Can anyone help provide any information about the recipient?
3426 PTE V.C. BARBER. WORC. R.
Thanks Tony.

Tony

His Medal Index Card shows Victor C Barber served with the Worcestershire Regiment with Regimental Numbers 3426 and 241049 and his Medal entitlement as the British War Medal and Victory Medal only.

Leigh will probably be able to add a bit more when he sees this thread.

Simon.

All I can add is the fact that he served with the 2nd/8th Battalion. No service papers, medical records or pension records exist for him.
