Default Help with I.D.

I think this is 14th/20th Hussars or maybe later, can anyone positively identify this badge please?

I bought it in the original packet, so I think it is modern.

It's the current King's Royal Hussars.

The maroon background is from the 11th Hussars via the Royal Hussars who the 14th/20th amalgamated with.

Prior to formation of the Royal Hussars and their adoption of the badge backing in the 11th H's crimson it was worn by The 10th H in the scarlet of the red dragon of Wales, the shape representing the "Rising Sun of York".

Thanks Alan, I am not too good on modern amalgamated badges.

The eagles of the 14th, the 14th/20th and the KRH confuse me.
