Help Needed Blackwatch Badge - British & Commonwealth Military Badge Forum

Hi Guys,

I do not collect British badges yet only South African,
So got this badge today and wanted to know, is it genuine and was it from the WW1 period

Really love it, so hope it is genuine

The BW badge in brass was not worn by the Scottish regiment but by a Canadian Regiment. It appears to be one of theirs and is probably worth more than a normal white metal one.
