Default 28th Madras Infantry 1885-1903.

Not exactly a badge but a recent find in the form of a milk jug. The three battle honours are Mahidpore (1817) and Nagpore (1817) both third Anglo-Mahratta War and Ava (1825) First Anglo Burma War.

It was in a box of mixed items from a house clearance at a local flea market. Very pleased to have been able to acquire it, as not only is it a rare thing it is very well made. I can imagine it being used in the Officer's Mess.
