Mill Hill School

It is recorded in the Mill Hill School archives that they were affiliated to the Middlesex Regiment. The band photo is 1946 and the PSI is badged Middlesex.

They adopted a school cap badge at some point. 2 versions exist - GM one with an open book which were the school arms from circa 1935 and latterly worn by the OTC, JTC and CCF.

There exists an earlier black version with a cypher in place of the book that is said to pre-date the gm one. Why it is black when the Middlesex has no rifle regt connections is unclear.

In 1998 the CCF re-badged to the RRF.
