Question King's crown button

This button came with a collection I recently bought, plain backed I have no idea which unit or organisation wore it.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Rob

Hi Rob

They were widely used by various government and other agencies which didn't have their own specific buttons.

The household staff of the late Queen Mother used a similar button but I think they had a backmark.

Default King's crown button

David,

Many thanks for that information, obviously with the crown an offical item for general use.
