I hope here that I won’t be (as the expression goes) ‘stating the bleedin’ obvious’, but the significance of the engraved date common to these badges would of course be the occasion of Queen Victoria’s Golden Jubilee.

6th Inniskilling arm badge
Tony
Thanks for pointing out the photo of the Inniskilling NCO wearing his arm badge. However I think this is the standard 6th Inniskilling arm badge and not the 1887 version. The 1887 Jubiliee arm badge is wider than the standard issue. It's still a very interesting photo. Bob |

These badges are absolute quality. The craftsmanship in making them is outstanding, just a shame there not being worn nowadays.

Inniskilling Dragoons 1887
Hi All
Three known badges have changed hands in the last year I believe that the Hollis badge would be No 10. However we don't actually know that it still exists as it hasn't been seen since 1974. Anybody know who owns it? Bob |

Inniskilling 1887 Arm Badge
Hi Alex
Thanks for the post. Sgt Robinson's badge is another addition to the list. At 2525R (£142) that has to be the bargain of the year Even with the flag missing it's still a great buy. Bob |

Hello Guys
Thanks to every one who has contributed and shown pictures of these super rare badges, this is the Forum at its finest. As one who owns a Hallmarked 17th Lancers Arm Motto I know how rare these things are. Well gone guys, regards Phil. |
