Default modern Australian shoulder patches

hi all
never wanted to collect these patches and have resisted until today when this lot arrived unexpected with another lot of items.
Luckily i have the great reference book by David to ID the majority.
now the dilema. do i collect them and add to them or not.
bugger!!
btw whats the 1 2 D patch?
i now know the one below is Medical Staff in Kandahar Air Base

Find out what MSS stands for (bottom line) and that may point you in the right direction.

maybe civilian? as per this google search

MSS Security says it has signed a contract with the Australian Department of Defence for the provision of access control services to ADF bases throughout Sydney, Northern NSW and Queensland.

but why 1 2 Delta?
