206 OCTU
Two 206 OCTU signs and an image taken from the book "One Family's War" of the sign being worn by Maj Pat Mayhew R Norfolks when he was a member of the Permanent Staff of 206 (Infantry) OCTU. The unit was located on the Isle of Man. In the image the sign is worn above the Inf AoS strip. Not very exciting, but hard to find. Mike

Mike - one of the medal ribbons being worn looks like that of the Military Medal, there is a Major Patrick Kenneth Mayhew MM, Royal Norfolks ... is this the same man ?

I thought the same thing - and was half-hoping that a Forum member might have the book in order to check. If so, a combat arms Major with an MM would have to be an inspiration to OCdts. Mike
