Sweetheart Badge Pattern Drawings
A while back I obtained an old album in a mixed auction lot containing hand drawn and coloured patterns for Sweetheart badges. The majority are Military and some have details of materials and precious stones which can be added should the Customer wish written on them.
I believe that the drawings were done in the immediate post World War Two era and thought I would post a few images for Forum Members to view. I'll start with my old Regiment, The Coldstream Guards. |

Apologies but I seem to have posted this in the Canadian Section, could I ask the Mods to move it to the British section please.

Highland Light Infantry, the reverse of the card has the hand written notation. 'In silver and enamel with gilt crown and elephant, approx. £3.15.0' and the date 6/11/39.

JT,
Believe these images relate to a Company called JW Barret from the odd pencil written notation in the album. Have not undertaken any research on this Company as yet. Regards Simon. |
