Default Anzac A on eBay at mo

Hi all
I have always been a little wary of this dealer on eBay, anyone else feel the same?
Any opinion on this patch?
Kind regards and stay safe
Dan

The patch looks more square than rectangular.

I would want to see a picture of the back of the 'A' before making any bids on it.

Is it green or a faded washed out dark blue, might be a cut down 5 Aust Div Arty patch. Possibly for wear post-Great War as a miniature patch. I think it would need to be in hand for an opinion, cloth looks period.

When did the coffin shaped lugs appear for British badges and titles? It must be remembered that most A's were sourced from UK, not Australia.

Having said that my opinion of the dealer is generally that expressed in Post #1.

hey Keith
looks green to me.
the coffin lugs were used from pre war and i have seen several A's with these lugs on genuine colour patches. as you say, many were sourced from UK manufacturers.
cheers

On todays market here in Oz , Color patch $150/200 and A with 2 lugs $70/120

So 400 plus postage here if sold to an aussie way to much for a maybe color patch and a A that is not of the norm.

I think your pricing is on the conservative side. I've seen Anzac 'A's sell for as much as $200-220 in recent times.

I’m sure the seller of the item in the OP has been debated on here before and the consensus was many of his offerings were suspect.
