Default Help Please - Grenadier Guards Badge?

Hi

I have picked up this badge which I understand to be a Grenadier Guards Badge. I have never seen one with this "framed surround."

I would be grateful if anyone could help me identify its origin.

Many thanks

ShelB

It's a cross belt badge, used by a number of yeomanry & possibly other units.
I have one of gilded yellow metal.
It also occurs in white metal.

I believe it is a Royal Artillery Officers pouch belt plate ornament/slider.

Hmm looks like memories at fault, thought the design was shown as some yeomanry in RJ Wyatt's "Collecting Volunteer Militaria" (though a flamed grenade isn't first to mind as a yeomanry device - found & checked the book - he shows the design on a belt to 3rd Kent Artillery Volunteers.
