Hi there fellow collectors I have joined this forum as I work for the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo as an usher and have done now for 14yrs this year. I have been collecting badges and since my grandfather passed away last year have taken to finding out more and more about his past as he was a stoker in the Royal Navy in the 1940's and served on various ships. Also My mothers 2 Uncles served in the Army 1 in the Royal Artillery and 1 in the Gloucestershire Regiment so we have taken on a lot too trace there careers and also there history.

Hi Norman

My father went up to Edinburgh to watch the Tattoo a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it, so thanks for looking after him Rob.

I was taken to the Tattoo as a child & always watch it when I spot it on the TV these days - I should really try & attend again in person!
