Smile Home Guard badge

I wonder whether any member(s) can help me out with a cap badge query?
I have a pair of COL/21 Home Guard numerals and wonder how this unit was badged. By this I mean what cap badge did they wear. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Rob

Rob,

It was a post Office unit see link below

http://www.home-guard.org.uk/hg/strucbadgec.html

The unit was at Acton Middlesex so presumably badged to Middlesex Regt.

Regards

Peter

Default Home Guard badge

PB According to the list, 19-26, 34 Bns Queen's own Royal West Kent Regiment, so presumably they wore the same as Mr Mainwaring.

Many thanks Rob

Yes ,
My understanding is that COL is the designation for City of London but the 21st City of London Bn was a GPO unit and wore badge of the regiment where they were located which in this case was Acton Middlesex, hence my presumption that they wore the Middlesex Regt. cap badge.
