Default Need help - is slouch hat WW1 or 2. What is Patch?

Hello. American collector needs help.
Is this slouch WW1 or 2?
What is the patch - am guessing battalion in 1st division?

It's a World War 2 slouch hat.

2/2nd Bn from memory? I don't have my reference book handy at present.

G'day Jeffweil

Have a look at the photo of the colour patch, it has a grey /buff background surrounding the blue and green. This back ground is what tells us that its a WW2 hat.
