Default CEF Book Project

A new comprehensive illustrated guideline for the badges of the Canadian Expeditionary Force is long overdue. Service Publications is undertaking this project with Clive Law, Larry Will, Ian Candy and Bill Alexander working on various aspects of research and compilation. The team will make this effort as comprehensive, detailed, researched and thorough as possible. New information and research will be incorporated with full colour images that list the cap badges, collars, C/x numbers, numbers, shoulder titles, battle patches and cloth shoulder titles. This sub-forum will be the place that sample pages are posted, and critiques can be added, and input and additional information gathered. It will be a general sounding board for the project.

Thanks for the bump. When Clive died nearly 3 years ago, the project was put in an odd spot. After things settled and the situation was clarified, we resumed writing.
Work continues. We are in the final go through of edits for the infantry battalion book, and then we have to find a publisher and get the project into print.

How are you guys getting the photos to use in the book? I would be happy to photograph any badges that I have to help out.
Cheers

Hi Sarge, we are getting near the point of putting the infantry volume to bed. If you could contact Larry Will he has the image files and knows what we are missing.
