New collector from Colorado
Hi everyone! Thanks for letting me join your forum. Long time collector. Stopped collecting German items, got sick of seeing all the repro stuff and couldn’t take it anymore! Sold all my German stuff and concentrate on Japanese blades and American WW2 patches. Just purchased a collection of patches and found a few that I didn’t recognize. Started doing some research on tbe web and found tour forum. I like to learn new thing so decided to join. I’ll add a few picks of a sit ofSAS wings, a CHINDITS patch and 4 tabs. King of big for tabs but I’m not sure what to call them. Would like a little info on the 4 tabs. I can’t find anything on the internet. Also, would like info on the CHINDITS patch. All of the British stuff came out of a very old collection.
Thanks, and once again thanks for letting me join tour forum! |

Welcome Keith, your Chindits patch l would say was a blazer badge, the SAS wing is Rhodesian and the shoulder titles look reproduction, hope this helps.

Those shoulder titles are British Indian Army, and were likely made sometime around the time of independence in the very late 1940s or so. It is unclear just what they were worn for, but they were possibly for a commemoration of some sort. Most I have seen are unworn.
