USAF M65 Jacket insignia?
Can anyone help?
Bought this before lockdown #1 as I liked the look of it. Not convinced the insignia is original to jacket??? Why would the patches be sewn on sealing pockets, if not added later? Cheers Tony.

An M65 to the 354th Component Repair Squadron, US Air Force. The only thing removed from the jacket is the owners name tag above the left hand (owner's right hand) pocket. From an era before velcro, so patches sewn directly onto pockets by an idle tailor who just used a sewing machine.
I like it too. Ian H |

Thanks Ian for your informative reply, Google search of the attached label code gives a date of 1974.
Note the reflective strip on the back and cuffs. Tony.
