Default Latest pickup - 3/9 SAMR Bullion hat badge

Am stoked to have picked up one of these!

3/9 SAMR Bullion hat badge - circa 1980s.

You don't see many around these days!

Thanks mate!

I just need to find a 1st Armoured Regiment bullion badge from the 1970s/1980s and that will complete the RAAC bullion collection for me.

I think they may have been worn only by some officers and NCOs of the regiment in 1970s or 1980s.

It's certainly a very hard to find badge.

Actually, they weren't a full regiment - just a Squadron ('A' Squadron) so probably not very many were made for them.
