Hi Ron, looking at your British Consulate stamp, could it be from the British Consulate at Calella, which is Barcelona? The "u" is missing from consulate is there must be a letter missing in the word at the bottom. Not sure if that is a letter at the end of the bottom word.

Roman lead plaque 32x16mm 1st C.
The god Faunus emerging from the forest, half goat half man with stags antlers, skulls above. Not very distinct you might have to squint your eyes and use your imagination.

Another cracking item Ron. Your collection(s) must rival many museums! Is it difficult to get these items now, especially from abroad because of laws?

Bryan, my coins and artifacts were bought from London coin fairs and dealers 1970-85. With the mine clearance programmes in the Balkans a huge ammount of material has come onto the market. Together with the metal detectorists in the UK some responsible some not it is almost impossible to get provenance of items or know how and where they were obtained.
Ron.
