Default Tank corps with silver tank

British empire Militaria has some interesting tank corps badges where the badge is brass and the tank silver, on the back is gaunt makers details. I know this has been discussed previously and suggested i5 was a fantasy badge. However they do appear genuine, any thoughts?

I believe the bi-metal collar badges are worn on the officers’ No. 1 Dress uniform.

Default badges

Prices seem high - for example, I have just purchased a hallmarked silver 1940 Gaunt officers cap badge from another dealer for half the price...

I agree with Steve an absolute plethora of fakes. He’s just listed a broken repro Home Guard Auxiliary Units for £400... just about sums up this dealer in my opinion.

He is Rod Floods son, so its a shame that he does this.

i have warned about his offerings before when quite a few fake Manchester Regiment badges appeared.

Didn’t know he was Rod Floods son.

But I still don't like the tank corps badges on his site.

What about his Tank Corps WW1 titles and MGC titles? Do they look ok to you?
