Do all of your RM berets have the stiffener plate?

Default More Pictures

Have added a few more pictures - updates to the 'Collar / Arm' case

Luc
None of the berets have the brass backing plate. A couple have the integral stiffener (used to be perspex and now seems to be a card type material) which is sewn in with the liming.

In my day (although severely frowned upon) we used to cut out the lining and most of the backing piece so as to be able to shape the beret better (wanting it to look more like an old sweat's beret than the flight deck of Hermes!!)
Some of these have been butchered inside just like we did so I guess it is still a trend in more modern times too
