RIC/RUC Collectors

Is there any Royal Irish/Ulster Constabulary collectors on the forum?

I am not actually a collector, but I have tried to find out a little more about RIC badges and uniforms on this and other forums. You may have seen my earlier question regarding the so-called RIC "officer cadets".

Yes, I collect RIC, RUC, DMP , Polini Atha Cliath (transitional Dublin Police) and Garda (old stuff). I'm all the way over in Massachusetts, but from Dublin originally.

I collect RUC bits & pieces and the only reason I don't collect RIC stuff is that is now hard to find & too expensive.
The helmet shown is much nicer than the old RUC's Belfast night helmet.
