Default Unknown (to me) trade badge

Hi All,

I've picked this up as part of a job lot but have no idea what it is. I'm guessing some sort of RN weapons trade?

It will probably be heading for my swaps box.

Can anyone tell me what it is please?

Thanks a lot,

Michael

Hi Michael

This is a Weapons Analyst badge - originally introduced in 1968. Originally it was only made in blue thread as it was a badge worn only by Wrens. After the Wrens ceased to exist in 1993 it was issued in gold wire.
