Default tropical? CSM/WOII

A lovely, good quality rank insignia badge in bullion with an off white, padded backing with press stud fittings.

White backed rank badges were worn on No1 Dress and smaller on Mess Dress by a number of regiments and corps including 17/21L, QRL, 13/18H, RASC, RCT and PWO

With 'Press Studs' more likely for 'Warm Weather' No11 Mess Dress (White Jacket) than 'Temperate' No10 Mess Dress where they are normally stitched as are No1 Dress.

No3 'Warm Weather' is the equivalent to No1 Dress.

As Grumpy says for RQMS not CSM
