Does anyone recognise this button

It's the Royal Albert Flotilla, a yacht club formed at Southsea in 1864.

This is one of those buttons with a very long incorrect identity.
It is not a yacht club button. The letters are R.A.I.

It belongs to the Royal Albert Institution,
for the feeble-minded belonging to Lancashire, Yorkshire, Cheshire, Westmorland, Cumberland, Durham and Northumberland
and all button collectors!


I do not know how I got these dates: 1929-1948.
I do remember it was a long search, many years ago.
